Keberadaan orang tua sebagai figur utama dalam keluarga berperan krusial dalam &#13;
membentuk perkembangan emosional remaja, di mana pola asuh yang hangat dan &#13;
suportif memungkinkan remaja mengembangkan self-disclosure secara sehat tanpa &#13;
diliputi rasa takut atau cemas. Namun, pada konteks pola asuh otoriter yang &#13;
cenderung menekankan kontrol dan kedisiplinan ketat, kemampuan remaja untuk &#13;
mengungkapkan diri seringkali terhambat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan &#13;
untuk mendeskripsikan dinamika self-disclosure pada remaja yang mendapatkan &#13;
pola asuh otoriter di SMAN X, Kecamatan M, Kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa &#13;
Tengah. &#13;
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. &#13;
Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tiga remaja SMA yang menunjukkan &#13;
kecenderungan mendapatkan pola asuh otoriter, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik &#13;
purposive sampling. Penentuan informan dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner &#13;
sebagai tahap awal penyaringan, yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan wawancara &#13;
mendalam dan observasi. Untuk menjamin kredibilitas data, digunakan teknik &#13;
triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Analisis data dilakukan dengan &#13;
menggunakan pendekatan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) dari &#13;
Kahija (2017), yang mencakup tahapan membaca dan mengulang transkrip, &#13;
membuat komentar awal, mengembangkan tema-tema emergen, mencari keterkaitan &#13;
antartema, serta integrasi antarkasus, dengan bantuan perangkat lunak ATLAS.ti &#13;
dalam proses pengkodean data kualitatif. &#13;
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh otoriter yang menekankan kontrol &#13;
ketat dan minimnya kasih sayang dapat mendorong remaja untuk membatasi Self &#13;
disclosure dalam hal niat, jumlah, kedalaman, dan kejujuran informasi. Ketakutan &#13;
terhadap penilaian dan rendahnya kepercayaan interpersonal membuat remaja &#13;
cenderung hanya mengungkapkan hal-hal permukaan seperti opini dan preferensi, &#13;
serta menekan ekspresi emosional yang mendalam. Kondisi ini merefleksikan &#13;
respons adaptif terhadap pengasuhan yang menekan ekspresi diri dan tidak &#13;
mendukung keterbukaan dalam relasi sosial. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pola &#13;
asuh yang suportif berperan penting dalam membentuk Self disclosure yang sehat &#13;
dan melindungi remaja dari dampak negatif terhadap identitas serta kualitas &#13;
hubungan sosialnya. &#13;

Teenagers Who Get Authoritarian Parenting. Islamic Psychology Study Program. &#13;
Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da'wah. Raden Mas State Islamic University Said &#13;
Surakarta. &#13;
The existence of parents as the main figures in the family plays a crucial role in &#13;
shaping adolescent emotional development, where warm and supportive parenting &#13;
allows adolescents to develop self-disclosure in a healthy manner without being &#13;
overwhelmed by fear or anxiety. However, in the context of authoritarian parenting &#13;
that tends to emphasize strict control and discipline, adolescents' ability to express &#13;
themselves is often hampered. Therefore, this study aims to describe the dynamics of &#13;
self-disclosure in adolescents who receive authoritarian parenting at SMAN X, M &#13;
District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. &#13;
This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The &#13;
informants in this study were three high school teenagers who showed a tendency to &#13;
get an authoritarian parenting style, which was selected using the purposive sampling &#13;
technique. The determination of informants is carried out through the distribution of &#13;
questionnaires as the initial stage of screening, which is then followed by in-depth &#13;
interviews and observations. To ensure the credibility of the data, source &#13;
triangulation techniques and method triangulation methods are used. Data analysis &#13;
was carried out using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach &#13;
from Kahija (2017), which includes the stages of reading and repeating transcripts, &#13;
making initial comments, developing emerging themes, looking for inter-themes, and &#13;
integration between cases, with the help of ATLAS.ti software in the process of coding &#13;
qualitative data. &#13;
The results of the study show that authoritarian parenting that emphasizes strict &#13;
control and lack of affection can encourage adolescents to limit self-disclosure in &#13;
terms of intention, quantity, depth, and honesty of information. Fear of judgment and &#13;
low interpersonal trust make adolescents tend to only express superficial things such &#13;
as opinions and preferences, and suppress deep emotional expression. This condition &#13;
reflects an adaptive response to parenting that suppresses self-expression and does &#13;
not support openness in social relationships. These findings confirm that supportive &#13;
parenting plays an important role in forming healthy self-disclosure and protecting &#13;
adolescents from negative impacts on their identity and the quality of their social &#13;
relationships. &#13;
