Mahasiswa aktivis organisasi penerima Bidikmisi sering menghadapi tekanan &#13;
multidimensi yang mencakup beban akademik, tanggung jawab organisasi, dan &#13;
keterbatasan ekonomi. Tekanan tersebut berisiko memicu academic burnout &#13;
berupa kelelahan emosional, penurunan prestasi, serta sikap sinisme terhadap &#13;
aktivitas perkuliahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pemahaman dan &#13;
pengaplikasian konsep Islamic Mindfulness dalam kehidupan mahasiswa aktivis &#13;
organisasi penerima bidikmisi yang mengalami akademik burnout di UIN Raden &#13;
Mas Said Surakarta.  &#13;
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Informan &#13;
dalam penelitian terdiri dari  tiga subjek dengan kriteria mahasiswa penerima &#13;
bidikmisi, mengalami akademik burnout, mengikuti organisasi, berusia 19 – 25 &#13;
tahun di UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan &#13;
melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan observasi non-partisipan. Untuk &#13;
memastikan kredibilitas data, penelitian ini menerapkan triangulasi sumber dan &#13;
triangulasi metode. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis &#13;
fenomenologis dari Moustakas (1994), yang meliputi tahapan epoche &#13;
(bracketing), horizonalization, clustering of meanings, textural description, &#13;
structural description, dan synthesis of meanings and essences. &#13;
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Islamic mindfulness berperan sebagai &#13;
mekanisme adaptif utama dalam menghadapi tekanan akademik dan kelelahan &#13;
mental pada mahasiswa aktivis penerima Bidikmisi. Nilai-nilai spiritual seperti &#13;
ibadah yang konsisten, muraqabah (fokus dan kehadiran penuh), pengelolaan &#13;
emosi melalui kesabaran dan doa, serta penerimaan terhadap kegagalan &#13;
membentuk strategi coping yang kuat dan bermakna. Kebiasaan reflektif &#13;
(muhasabah), interaksi sosial yang empatik, dan niat yang ikhlas karena Allah &#13;
memperkuat motivasi intrinsik dan ketahanan mental mahasiswa. Temuan ini &#13;
menegaskan bahwa Islamic mindfulness bukan hanya aspek religius, melainkan &#13;
juga sumber ketangguhan akademik dan keseimbangan hidup yang efektif dalam &#13;
menghadapi kompleksitas perkuliahan dan tanggung jawab organisasi. &#13;

Students who are activists of Bidikmisi recipient organizations often face &#13;
multidimensional pressures that include academic burden, organizational &#13;
responsibilities, and economic limitations. These pressures are at risk of triggering &#13;
academic burnout in the form of emotional exhaustion, decreased achievement, and &#13;
cynicism towards lecture activities. This study aims to identify the understanding and &#13;
application of the concept of Islamic Mindfulness in the lives of student activists of &#13;
Bidikmisi recipient organizations who experience academic burnout at UIN Raden &#13;
Mas Said Surakarta. &#13;
This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. The informants in the study &#13;
consisted of three subjects with the criteria of Bidikmisi recipient students, &#13;
experiencing academic burnout, joining organizations, aged 19-25 years at UIN Raden &#13;
Mas Said Surakarta. Data collection techniques were conducted through semi&#13;
structured interviews and non-participant observation. To ensure the credibility of the &#13;
data, this study applied source triangulation and method triangulation. Data analysis &#13;
was conducted using the phenomenological analysis technique from Moustakas (1994), &#13;
which includes the stages of epoche (bracketing), horizonalization, clustering of &#13;
meanings, textural description, structural description, and synthesis of meanings and &#13;
essences. &#13;
The results of this study indicate that Islamic mindfulness plays a role as the main &#13;
adaptive mechanism in dealing with academic pressure and mental fatigue in Bidikmisi &#13;
activist students. Spiritual values such as consistent worship, muraqabah (focus and &#13;
full presence), emotional management through patience and prayer, and acceptance of &#13;
failure form strong and meaningful coping strategies. Reflective habits (muhasabah), &#13;
empathetic social interactions, and sincere intentions because of Allah strengthen &#13;
students' intrinsic motivation and mental resilience. These findings confirm that &#13;
Islamic mindfulness is not only a religious aspect, but also a source of academic &#13;
resilience and effective life balance in dealing with the complexity of lectures and &#13;
organizational responsibilities. &#13;
