LINTANG KUSUMA DEWI 201211110, Pemanfaatan Media Sosial Twitter/X Pada Akun @Gerindra Sebagai Media Komunikasi Politik Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Citra Prabowo Subianto. Skripsi, Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam, Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Dakwah, Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta 2025&#13;
Penelitian ini membahas pemanfaatan akun resmi Twitter/X @Gerindra dalam membentuk citra publik Prabowo Subianto sebagai bagian dari strategi komunikasi politik pada masa kampanye Pemilihan Presiden 2024. Media sosial memungkinkan partai politik menjangkau publik secara langsung tanpa perantara media konvensional. Akun @Gerindra digunakan aktif untuk menyampaikan pesan politik dan membangun interaksi digital yang komunikatif, terutama kepada kalangan muda sebagai pemilih potensial. &#13;
Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi, melalui kerangka teori Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) oleh Hiltz dan Turoff, yang mencakup cyberspace, cybersociety, dan cyberculture. Gerindra sebagai representasi partai memanfaatkan fitur-fitur Twitter seperti thread, quote tweet, meme, insert link, hingga reply sebagai strategi komunikasi publik yang lebih terbuka dan populis. Konten-konten unggahan menunjukkan gaya komunikasi yang santai, adaptif terhadap budaya digital, dan menekankan pendekatan berbasis afeksi. &#13;
Penerapan teori citra dari Philip Kotler, khususnya konsep desired image, terlihat dalam upaya membentuk citra Prabowo sebagai sosok yang tidak hanya tegas, tetapi juga humoris, humanis, dan dekat dengan warganet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan interaksi dan pertambahan 20 juta penhikut, serta narasi kampanye yang komunikatif dan disesuaikan dengan dinamika media sosial. Namun, konsistensi dalam merespons kritik dan isu sensitif masih menjadi ruang perbaikan agar citra politik yang dibangun lebih seimbang dan berkelanjutan. &#13;

LINTANG KUSUMA DEWI (201211110), The Use of Twitter/X Social Media on the @Gerindra Account as a Medium of Political Communication in an Effort to Enhance the Image of Prabowo Subianto. Undergraduate Thesis, Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da’wah, Raden Mas Said State Islamic University Surakarta, 2025.&#13;
This research examines the utilization of the official Twitter/X account @Gerindra in shaping the public image of Prabowo Subianto as part of their political communication strategy during the 2024 Presidential Election campaign. Social media enables political parties to directly reach the public without traditional media intermediaries. The @Gerindra account was actively used to convey political messages and foster communicative digital interactions, particularly targeting young people as potential voters.&#13;
The research employs a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, utilizing the Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) theoretical framework by Hiltz and Turoff, which encompasses cyberspace, cybersociety, and cyberculture. Gerindra, as a party representative, leverages various Twitter features such as threads, quote tweets, memes, inserted links, and replies as part of a more open and populist public communication strategy. The content of their posts demonstrates a casual communication style, adaptability to digital culture, and an emphasis on an affect-based approach.&#13;
The application of Philip Kotler's image theory, specifically the concept of desired image, is evident in the efforts to portray Prabowo not only as a firm leader but also as humorous, humane, and relatable to netizens. The research findings indicate an increase in interactions and followers, along with communicative campaign narratives tailored to social media dynamics. However, consistency in responding to criticism and sensitive issues remains an area for improvement to ensure a more balanced and sustainable political image.&#13;
