Anak penyandang disabilitas fisik sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam perkembangan sosial dan emosional, terutama yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan mental akibat keterbatasan fisik yang mereka alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan bimbingan individu menggunakan metode problem solving guna meningkatkan kesehatan mental anak penyandang disabilitas fisik..&#13;
&#13;
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari subjek primer, yaitu dua guru wali kelas dan tiga peserta didik, serta subjek sekunder berupa satu kepala sekolah dan tiga orang tua peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.&#13;

Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan individu dengan metode problem solving membantu anak penyandang disabilitas fisik dalam meningkatkan kesehatan mental mereka. Proses bimbingan diawali dengan mengidentifikasi masalah yang sedang dihadapi siswa, kemudian mengembangkan berbagai ide sebagai solusi untuk masalah tersebut. Selanjutnya, siswa bersama guru mengevaluasi ide-ide yang sudah dirumuskan untuk memilih solusi terbaik. Setelah itu, siswa mencoba menerapkan solusi yang dipilih dan mencari jawaban apakah solusi tersebut berhasil menyelesaikan masalah. Terakhir, siswa membuat kesimpulan akhir berdasarkan hasil penerapan solusi tersebut. Melalui proses ini, siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri, mampu menerima diri sendiri, dan lebih bijak dalam menghadapi tantangan yang berkaitan dengan kondisi fisik mereka, sehingga kesehatan mental mereka meningkat.&#13;

Children with physical disabilities often face various challenges in social and emotional development, especially those related to mental health due to the physical limitations they experience. This study aims to describe the application of individual guidance using the problem solving method to improve the mental health of children with physical disabilities.&#13;
This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of the study consisted of primary subjects, namely two homeroom teachers and three students, and secondary subjects in the form of one principal and three parents of students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data validity technique used by the researcher is using technical triangulation. The researcher's data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.&#13;
This study shows that the implementation of individual guidance with the problem solving method helps children with physical disabilities improve their mental health. The guidance process begins with identifying the problems being faced by students, then developing various ideas as solutions to the problem. Furthermore, students and teachers evaluate the ideas that have been formulated to choose the best solution. After that, students try to apply the chosen solution and find out whether the solution has succeeded in solving the problem. Finally, students make final conclusions based on the results of implementing the solution. Through this process, students become more confident, able to accept themselves, and wiser in facing challenges related to their physical condition, so that their mental health improves.&#13;
