Ansyari Rian Pratama. NIM. 211221126. Layanan Konseling Individu Dengan Pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) Dalam Mengatasi Perilaku Membolos Siswa Di SMK Harapan Kartasura. Program Studi Bimbingan Konseling Islam. Fakultas Ushuluddin dan Dakwah UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta 2025.&#13;
Perilaku membolos merupakan salah satu bentuk pelanggaran kedisiplinan yang berdampak pada prestasi akademik dan perkembangan kepribadian siswa. Di SMK Harapan Kartasura, perilaku ini ditemukan pada beberapa siswa dengan latar belakang permasalahan pribadi dan lingkungan. Hal ini mendorong perlunya intervensi melalui layanan konseling individu untuk membantu siswa mengubah pola pikir irasional yang mendorong perilaku membolos.&#13;
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan layanan konseling individu dengan pendekatan REBT dalam mengatasi perilaku membolos siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus dengan subjek dua guru BK dan empat siswa yang memiliki riwayat membolos. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara dan observasi, serta analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan teori REBT Albert Ellis.&#13;
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru BK SMK Harapan Kartasura menerapkan pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) untuk mengurangi perilaku membolos pada peserta didik. Dalam mengimplementasi pendekatan REBT, guru BK menggunakan teknik-telnik REBT yaitu dengan beberapa tahap termasuk tahap pengajaran, persuasive, konfrontasi, dan pemberian nasihat. Setelah pemberian layanan konseling individu dengan pendekatan REBT keempat siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian dengan kategori peserta didik yang melakukan perilaku membolos mengalami perubahan dan tidak melakukan perilaku membolos lagi.&#13;

Truancy behavior is a form of disciplinary violation that has an impact on academic achievement and student personality development. At SMK Harapan Kartasura, this behavior was found in several students with a background of personal and environmental problems. This encourages the need for intervention through individual counseling services approach to help students change irrational thought patterns that encourage truancy behavior.&#13;
This study aims to describe the process of implementing individual counseling services with the REBT approach in overcoming student truancy behavior. The study used a qualitative case study method with two BK teachers and four students who had a history of truancy as subjects. Data collection techniques included interviews and observations, and data analysis was carried out through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions based on Albert Ellis' REBT theory.&#13;
The research results show that the school counselor at Harapan Kartasura Vocational School applies the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach to reduce truancy behavior among students. In implementing the REBT approach, the school counselor uses REBT techniques, which include several stages such as teaching, persuasion, confrontation, and giving advice. After providing individual counseling services using the REBT approach, the four students who were the subjects of the study, categorized as students who exhibited truancy behavior, experienced changes and no longer engaged in truancy.&#13;
