Anak penyandang disabilitas fisik sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan &#13;
dalam perkembangan sosial dan emosional, terutama yang berkaitan dengan &#13;
kesehatan mental akibat keterbatasan fisik yang mereka alami. Penelitian ini &#13;
bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan bimbingan individu menggunakan &#13;
metode problem solving guna meningkatkan kesehatan mental anak penyandang &#13;
disabilitas fisik.. &#13;
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. &#13;
Subjek penelitian terdiri dari subjek primer, yaitu dua guru wali kelas dan tiga &#13;
peserta didik, serta subjek sekunder berupa satu kepala sekolah dan tiga orang tua &#13;
peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. &#13;
Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu menggunakan triangulasi &#13;
teknik. Teknik analisis data peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan &#13;
penarikan kesimpulan. &#13;
Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan individu dengan &#13;
metode problem solving membantu anak penyandang disabilitas fisik dalam &#13;
meningkatkan kesehatan mental mereka. Proses bimbingan diawali dengan &#13;
mengidentifikasi masalah yang sedang dihadapi siswa, kemudian mengembangkan &#13;
berbagai ide sebagai solusi untuk masalah tersebut. Selanjutnya, siswa bersama &#13;
guru mengevaluasi ide-ide yang sudah dirumuskan untuk memilih solusi terbaik. &#13;
Setelah itu, siswa mencoba menerapkan solusi yang dipilih dan mencari jawaban &#13;
apakah solusi tersebut berhasil menyelesaikan masalah. Terakhir, siswa membuat &#13;
kesimpulan akhir berdasarkan hasil penerapan solusi tersebut. Melalui proses ini, &#13;
siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri, mampu menerima diri sendiri, dan lebih bijak &#13;
dalam menghadapi tantangan yang berkaitan dengan kondisi fisik mereka, sehingga &#13;
kesehatan mental mereka meningkat. &#13;

Children with physical disabilities often face various challenges in social &#13;
and emotional development, especially those related to mental health due to the &#13;
physical limitations they experience. This study aims to describe the application of &#13;
individual guidance using the problem solving method to improve the mental health &#13;
of children with physical disabilities.  &#13;
This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The &#13;
subjects of the study consisted of primary subjects, namely two homeroom teachers &#13;
and three students, and secondary subjects in the form of one principal and three &#13;
parents of students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and &#13;
documentation. The data validity technique used by the researcher is using &#13;
technical triangulation. The researcher's data analysis technique uses data &#13;
reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. &#13;
This study shows that the implementation of individual guidance with the &#13;
problem solving method helps children with physical disabilities improve their &#13;
mental health. The guidance process begins with identifying the problems being &#13;
faced by students, then developing various ideas as solutions to the problem. &#13;
Furthermore, students and teachers evaluate the ideas that have been formulated &#13;
to choose the best solution. After that, students try to apply the chosen solution and &#13;
find out whether the solution has succeeded in solving the problem. Finally, &#13;
students make final conclusions based on the results of implementing the solution. &#13;
Through this process, students become more confident, able to accept themselves, &#13;
and wiser in facing challenges related to their physical condition, so that their &#13;
mental health improves. &#13;
