Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana pola asuh strict parents berdampak pada self control pada diri remaja. Pada lokasi penelitian terdapat fenomena terkait dengan dampak pola asuh strict parents pada self control remaja karang taruna dukuh Mojorejo dengan berbagai masalah serta penerapan self control yang berbeda-beda setiap subjeknya. Self control adalah suatu tindakan pengendalian terhadap diri secara sadar dan tanpa paksaan oleh pihak mana pun dengan tujuan untuk meminimalisir kerugian bagi diri sendiri dan orang lain.
Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi non partisipan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari remaja karang taruna desa Mojorejo. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasikan tema-tema utama yang berkaitan dengan aspek-aspek self control. Peneliti juga melakukan analisis terhadap informan pendukung (significant others) sebagai data pendukung dan kevalidan wawancara dan observasi dari informan utama.
Hasil dari penelitian, bahwa pola asuh strict parents memiliki dampak positif berupa mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah, bekerja sampingan, memiliki pemikiran positif. Namun pola asuh strict parents juga memunculkan dampak negatif seperti tingginya tingkat stress dan mudah lelah, merasa takut dimarahi dan serba salah, dan bergantung dengan orang tua hal ini berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan mental pada remaja.

This research aims to find out and analyze how strict parenting has an impact on self-control in teenagers. At the research location, there was a phenomenon related to the impact of strict parenting patterns on the self-control of adolescents in the Mojorejo Dukuh Karang Taruna with various problems and different applications of self-control for each subject. Self control is an act of controlling oneself consciously and without coercion by any party with the aim of minimizing harm to oneself and others.
The method used is a qualitative approach with interview techniques and non- participant observation. The research subjects consisted of teenagers from the Mojorejo village youth group. The data obtained will be analyzed to identify main themes related to aspects of self-control. Researchers also analyzed supporting informants (significant others) as supporting data and the validity of interviews and observations from the main informants.
The results of the research, that strict parenting has a positive impact in the form of doing homework, working part-time, having positive thoughts. However, strict parenting also gives rise to negative impacts such as high levels of stress and fatigue, fear of being scolded and being wrong, and depending on parents, this affects mental health in adolescents.
